East Texas Catholic church celebrates new building after years of raising funds

Following a consecration ceremony with newly appointed Diocese of Tyler Bishop Gregory Kelly, the building is now Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

This process foresees, from next January, the establishment of "diocese-wide" listening cells, "capable of receiving persons who have been victims in adulthood".

The church of Forestville will welcome the entire community of the Diocese of Baie-Comeau, from the Haute-Côte-Nord to the Basse-Côte-Nord, for the chrismale Mass held on Monday, April 14th, at 4 p.m. This annual celebration takes place more frequently at the Cathedral of Saint-Jean-Eudes in Baie-Comeau, but also moves to the other communities.
