Claudia Macero, communications chief of María Corina Machado’s party, flew home to Venezuela on Sunday night as caravans demanded the Nobel winner’s safe return. Machado herself remains in Panama after seven failed attempts.
Venezuelan opposition leader Claudia Macero returned to her homeland after two years in exile. Hundreds of supporters greeted her at Caracas airport on Sunday evening, an AFP photographer reported. The 34-year-old Macero is considered the main deputy to opposition leader María Corina Machado.
