Action group Dolle Mina will protest at the courthouse in Utrecht on Thursday afternoon. This is in response to the much-discussed court case in which 45-year-old former police officer Walco B and his friend Wouter van A. (48) were acquitted. The two men were suspected of raping a 17-year-old girl.

‘Finally, the court wishes to state that at the hearing and in the media, the defendant, and particularly the co-defendant, have been portrayed as sexual predators who took a young girl to a remote location to rape her there. Based on the case file and what was said at the hearing, the court does not recognize this image.’
