‘Protect Women. Period’ Campaign On CTA Aims To Prevent Violence Against Women And Teen Riders

PILSEN — A Pilsen organizer has started a campaign to raise awareness about women feeling unsafe while riding CTA trains and buses. Delilah Martinez, founder of The Mural Movement and owner of Vault Gallery, launched the “Protect Women. Period.” campaign to draw attention to women and young teens fearing for their safety when using public transportation, she said.
