The St. Louis Blues are adding some experience to their bench. The team hired Greg Cronin and Vinny Prospal to be assistant coaches yesterday. Cronin was the head coach of the Anaheim Ducks before coaching in the AHL last season. Prospal has been coaching the Rochester Americans in the AHL since 2023. St. Louis (USA) - Former Czech ice hockey player Václav Prospal will be an assistant coach to Jim Montgomery for the NHL's St. Louis Blues starting next season. The two-time world champion, who spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach for the Rochester Americans in the AHL, has signed a multi-year contract, St. Louis announced in a statement on its website.
