The Attorney General's Office, through the Area Specialized in Illicit Enrichment and Constitutional Complaints, filed a constitutional complaint with Congress against the ex-prosecutor of the Nation, Liz Patricia Benavides Vargas, who is charged with the alleged commission of the offences of specific passive bribery, personal cover-up and abuse of authority, to the detriment of the State.
The complaint was brought before Congress by the alleged participation of the ex-prosecutor of the Nation in a network of favors to manipulate investigations in exchange for support in disciplinary proceedings.
