BUENOS AIRES (AP) — On Thursday, a prosecutor asked a federal judge that former Argentine president Alberto Fernández be tried for alleged gender-based violence against his former partner Fabiola Yáñez.
Ramiro González presented his opinion, in which he accused the former president of minor and serious aggravated injuries, and coercive threats. The expectation of a sentence before a possible sentence is 15 years in prison.
