Proposed DeForest data center could consume nearly 15% of village’s water supply, require new storage

The proposed QTS data center could use nearly 15% of DeForest's water supply and require new infrastructure funded by the developer, village leaders said.

The 650-acre project would require about 125,000 gallons of water per day, a village engineering study found.
