The proposal amends the Law on the Rights of Older Persons of the State, seeking to guarantee access to and adequate use of information and communication technologies (ICT) through training in digital skills. This initiative is born out of the urgency of reducing technological inequalities that particularly affect people over 60 years of age, a sector that remains lagging behind in the use of the Internet and digital tools.
It will target up to €6 million to the evolution of the management systems of the social policy centres and the census of residents. It will integrate the systems of control of physical capacities to adjust care and treatment.
