Propane tank addressed after area secured

A propane cylinder in the bed of a pickup was leaking in the parking lot at 1301 12th Ave. SW., in Spencer, Tuesday morning. Shortly by 11 a.m., Spencer Fire & Rescue arrived on scene with multiple firefighters, as well as the Spencer Police Department and Cooperative Energy, where they discovered a 100-pound propane cylinder lying down in the bed of a pickup truck leaking liquid propane.
