“Old Glory” will become 249 years old on Flag Day, June 14. Fayette County will celebrate this anniversary with song and ceremony in a special program at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 14 on the courthouse lawn in La Grange. The “stars and stripes” were officially adopted by Congress on this day in 1777.
