Cornelis (44) from Boxmeer worked with his friend Henk (39) from Nijmegen in a drug lab in an abandoned Flemish stable when Henk suddenly died from the poison fumes. Cornelis drove the body to the Netherlands, where it was left in Boxmeer. The court in Den Bosch has now sentenced Cornelis to a prison term of three years, of which one year is suspended.
The court in Den Bosch sentenced a 44-year-old man on Friday to three years in prison, one year of which is suspended, for concealing the body of a friend from a drug lab in Belgium. The man died in October in an amphetamine lab in Torhout. He worked there with the suspect, Cornelis S., who has also been convicted of producing synthetic drugs and preparing for their production.
