A man who fled to Oklahoma after shooting someone to death in Morristown in 2021 has been sentenced to prison. Tyrell Lansing, 32, formerly of Morristown, received a 25-year state prison sentence on Friday, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said in a Wednesday statement. He pleaded guilty last month to first-degree aggravated manslaughter and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
