Princess Kate Reacts as She and Her 3 Children Get Booed by Anti-Monarchy Protestors at Trooping
The Princess of Wales kept a cool face as Republic protesters booed the royal carriage procession and displayed umbrellas reading "Stop The Reign."
On Saturday, Princess Kate appeared to glare at anti-monarchy protesters during Trooping the Colour as she and her three children passed them in a carriage through London.
Pressure group Republic staged a demonstration, holding signs reading "Down with the Crown" and "Not my King" while opening umbrellas that said "Stop The Reign."
The Met enforced Royal Parks regulations to keep activists away from the fence line, defending the use of Public Order Act conditions to prevent disruption as "not unusual."
Following press coverage, Republic tweeted "World's smallest violin etc." and stated they were "still waiting for all the 'free speech warriors' to defend our right to protest."
The King's official birthday celebrations concluded Saturday with a Red Arrows fly-past after inspecting troops, while Prince Louis joined the royal family on Buckingham Palace's balcony.
Princess Kate remained conspicuously calm at the great Royal appointment in London. Despite loud protests, she continued her performance with the children unwaveringly.
The traditional birthday parade for King Charles made it loud: anti-monarchy activists made protests and shouts in the middle of London. Especially Princess Kate and her children were targeted by the demonstrators.
