The three-part series uses several hours of secretly taped 1991 conversations to present Diana’s voice and perspective, Cineflix Rights said.
- Cineflix Rights will launch 'Diana Unheard' at MIPCOM in Cannes, a three-part docuseries from Love Monday featuring audio recordings of the Princess discussing her life, love, and the Royal Family.
- Producers accessed secretly taped conversations Diana had with James Colthurst in 1991, which formed the foundation of Andrew Morton's book 'Her True Story.' Both Colthurst and Morgan appear in the series.
- Buckingham Palace and Earl Spencer are embroiled in a dispute over his memoir 'Swan Song,' with the Palace suggesting the 62-year-old Earl's grief had "clouded reason" after he claimed King Charles III sneered Diana would be forgotten "soon enough."
- Creative Director Kerene Barefield of Love Monday stated the series aims to challenge the narrative portraying Diana as a victim, instead showing the Princess taking control of her own story at a pivotal point in her life.
