Amanda Holden Speaks Out on Surprising Plan with Prince William Ahead of Neeting
The future monarch will open a new facility funded by the Duchy of Cornwall and join Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston for a live Heart Radio show.
On Friday, His Royal Highness Prince William will visit the Isles of Scilly to formally open a new wing of the Scilly Hospital and join Heart Breakfast hosts Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston for a live radio broadcast.
Heart Radio Managing Editor Richard Steel said the station is "incredibly proud to deliver the first-ever national radio broadcast live from the Isles of Scilly," after the Prince personally invited Holden and Theakston to participate.
Holden and Theakston sought protocol advice before the visit, with the Prince previously clarifying: "Just to clarify, it's William." Holden plans to keep the encounter casual, noting she will dress for the seaside.
As the 25th Duke of Cornwall, the Prince oversees an estate valued at more than £1 billion, providing him with a private income of nearly £23 million annually to fund his family's official and private lives.
Funded by the Duchy of Cornwall, the new hospital wing unites NHS and social care provision to support the isolated island population. William will explore these redevelopment efforts and broader community projects during his visit.
