Prince of Wales wishes England team luck ahead of World Cup opener
The Prince of Wales wished England luck on social media ahead of their World Cup opener against Croatia on Wednesday night. He will watch from home with The Princess of Wales and their children.

Queuing in scorching heat, fans including Liam Wells and Angela Casey arrived hours early outside the stadium. Texas-based England fan Tammy Murphy told the Press Association the conditions were 'miserable' due to humidity.
Before the match, the Londoner Pub sold more than 5,000 beers, generating more than £30,000. Fan Martin Mulholland paid £6,000 for two front-row tickets to attend the game.
Captain Harry Kane acknowledged the anticipation, stating he wants fans 'to have that excitement.' Kane said this is 'one of the best opportunities we will have as a team to win it.
