Prince Harry’s high-flying promise to a 102-year-old Canadian veteran

- The plan stems from a pact with 102-year-old Second World War Veteran Marshall, whom Prince Harry met in Toronto last November at Sunnybrook Hospital's veterans centre during a creative arts program.
- During his 100th birthday skydive in July 2024, Marshall raised more than $100,000 for Sick Kids Hospital. Asked about his ongoing commitment, Marshall said, "If I can serve, I will as long as I'm able to."
- Health restrictions prevent Marshall from participating, so his grandson Bailey will join Prince Harry for the jump. Marshall shared Bailey "has the right attitude about this" and expressed hope he enjoys supporting Canadian military charities.
- Having served ten years in the British army, Prince Harry remains deeply committed to veteran causes through his work with the Invictus Games, which supports Canada's military and veteran communities.
