Prince George set for first day at Eton College
The 13-year-old future king is beginning boarding school after his parents chose Eton for its privacy and tradition, with annual fees of £63,298.
Prince George began attending Eton College on September 8, 2026, following the example of his father Prince William and uncle Prince Harry.
Eton College is a prestigious all-boys boarding school founded in 1440, known for educating 20 British prime ministers and members of the royal family.
Students at Eton experience unique traditions, including wearing a tailcoat uniform and being supported by older students and house staff.
Given his status, Prince George will have heightened security addressing modern privacy challenges such as phones and smart glasses.
The face to remember this Wednesday morning is that of Prince George, the first-born of the royal couple William and Kate. Karim Bennani shoves the spotlight on the young heir, because like millions of pupils, he also made his return to school. (International).
