Carney set to attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York next week
Prime Minister Mark Carney is set to attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York from Monday through Wednesday next week.
Carney will not address the 81st session, while Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand is scheduled to speak later during the General Assembly.
Carney will join a discussion on strengthening multilateral cooperation as the United Nations pursues reforms.
Carney will co-host an event with France and the United Kingdom on a two-state solution, one year after the three countries recognized an independent Palestinian state.
