A teacher at Mpale Primary School in Mangochi District, Robert Chaopa, has died after allegedly drinking alcohol on empty stomach. Mangochi Police spokesperson Amina Daudi said Chaopa, 37, went to drink alcohol in a village and became so intoxicated that he was unable to walk.
