Van Beek Leads Mizzou Women's Golf in 1st Round of ANNIKA Intercollegiate to Open 2026 Season
Senior Fleur van Beek shot 1-over 73 and Mizzou finished ninth after a 13-over 301 in the season opener.
On Monday, Mizzou women's golf opened its 2026 season at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate in Woodbury, Minnesota, finishing the first round in ninth place among 12 teams with a 13-over 301 performance.
Senior Fleur van Beek paced the Tigers, shooting a 1-over 73 to tie for 16th place overall and secure the top position on the team's scorecard entering the second round.
Teammates Page Bowman and Grace Crawford continue competing, with Bowman tied for 32nd and Crawford starting the day tied for 42nd; Addie Surber and Alexandra Berglund also represented the squad.
Virginia freshman Zoe Cusack leads the tournament after shooting 5-under 67, while Wake Forest, Virginia, and South Carolina hold the top three team positions at the event.
Action shifts to Tuesday for the second round of play, with the event concluding Wednesday, giving the Tigers an opportunity to improve their standing against stiff competition.
