Sanofi has obtained the approval of the European Commission for a new formulation of its anticancer treatment Sarclisa, which can be administered via a portable subcutaneous injector, a step forward that could facilitate the management of patients with multiple myeloma at home or in an outpatient setting.
This medicine was developed to treat multiple myeloma, a form of plasma cell cancer, caused by abnormal cell production within the plasma.
