Death Toll in Northwest China Floods and Mudslides Rises to 13

GANSU PROVINCE, CHINA, AUG 8 – Over 9,800 residents relocated and more than 440 rescued as authorities intensify flood control and disaster relief following mountain torrents in Gansu Province.

The death toll from flash floods and mudslides in northwest China has risen to 13, state media said on Saturday, after the bodies of three people were found.
