Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic signed a controversial judicial reform on Friday, which the European Commission claims is subsidizing the independence of justice and deplores the country of accession to the European Union.
Lawyer Jovan Rajić said that he would not be surprised if the Constitutional Court stopped the implementation of the set of judicial laws, which were signed today by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and as he estimated, the goal would be to simulate the existence of institutions in Serbia and promote the new President of the Constitutional Court, Vladimir Petrov, so that someone would "think that he has credibility".

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has signed decrees approving a set of judicial reforms which the European Commission has described as "a serious step backwards in Serbia's European integration process", according to reports in the Serbian media. The five laws passed by the ruling majority in the Serbian parliament on January 28 came into force today, according to RTS.
