President, PM Extend Best Wishes for Shubhanshu Shukla’s Space Odyssey
INDIA, JUN 25 – Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla leads the fourth private astronaut mission with 60 experiments, including seven Indian-developed ones, marking India's return to human spaceflight after 41 years.
- Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is on a 28-hour mission to the International Space Station aboard a SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket, along with two other astronauts from Poland and Hungary.
- Indian leaders, including President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have expressed pride in Shukla's achievement and noted that it will lead to new scientific studies.
