The President of Cyprus is visiting Chisinau.
R. Moldova is "a champion of expansion", and the Republic of Cyprus will continue to support the European course of our state. The message was transmitted, on the evening of 9 May, from the stage of the Main National Assembly Square (PMAN), by Nikos Christodoulides, President of Cyprus, which currently holds the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Opening the negotiating chapters for the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union, in particular the cluster on the rule of law and justice reform, is a priority of the Presidency of Cyprus in the EU Council, according to the President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, who was in his first official visit to the Republic of Moldova.
