PREPS: Menomonie, area cross country athletes star at Griak Invitational
Veronica Molback led five girls in the top 16 as Menomonie won both Maroon team titles and finished 65 points ahead of Hudson.
- Menomonie dominated the Roy Griak Invitational Saturday at the Fort Snelling Golf Course, winning team titles in the Lefty Wright Boys Maroon and Jack Johnson Girls Maroon divisions.
- Among 272 runners competing in the field, five Menomonie girls finished in the top 16, led by Veronica Molback's second-place finish in 18:31.9.

Eike Leads Men’s Cross Country at McNichols Invite
The Navy men's cross country team recorded a top 20 finish at the 2026 John McNichols Invitational hosted by Indiana State University at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind. Junior Dane Eike posted a time of 24:14.3 in the 8K race to finish 25th among the 263 competitors to lead Navy to a 19th-place finish as a team.
