Prep roundup: Fairland girls win district track and field title for first time

ALBANY, Ohio -- Fairland High School's girls track team won its first district title Friday, finishing first in the Division IV A-East meet at Alexander High School. The Dragons totaled 112 points, topping runner-up Coal Grove by 10. Zane Trace was third with 96, followed by Alexander with 67, Minford 59, Southeastern 57, Wellston 38, Oak Hill 32, Meigs 25, River Valley 24, Chesapeake 23 and Nelsonville-York 18.
