Prep golf: Hurricane's Isaac Hayes doesn't sing 'Shaft,' he swings it

HURRICANE, W.Va. -- Issac Hayes the musician is well known for performing the theme from the 1970s TV show "Shaft." Isaac Hayes the golfer doesn't sing "Shaft" but certainly is adept at swinging one. "I get that a lot," Hayes said of being asked if he was named after the late Grammy winning artist. "I've listened to his music maybe once or twice to see who he was, but I'm not a big fan."
