An airborne laser survey on the Karst Plateau of the Adriatic hinterland has led to the discovery of previously unknown dry-stone megastructures. Slovenian archaeologists have made an extraordinary discovery in the Karst - several kilometers long stone structures that prehistoric communities used for mass hunting. According to the authors of the research, Dimitrij Mlekuž Vrhovnik and Tomaž Fabec, this is one of the largest prehistoric architectures of its kind in Europe.
