The auction held on the eve offered 13 pre-salt blocks, the largest package since the beginning of the current model of auctions of areas for oil exploration in the country, in 2022.
The largest pre-salt auction had seven of the 13 blocks thrown, R$ 530 million in bonuses and R$ 778.4 million in minimum investments.
