The People Power Party (PPP)'s supreme council voted to expel former party leader Han Dong-hoon on Thursday, plunging Korea's main conservative opposition party into deeper internal turmoil with just 124 days remaining until the local elections.
The People Power Party's Supreme Council has expelled former People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon in connection with the "party member bulletin board incident." Choi Bo-yoon, the People Power Party's chief spokesperson, met with reporters after the Supreme Council meeting today and said, "The disciplinary action against former leader Han Dong-hoon was taken as decided by the Ethics Committee."
