The Department of Agriculture has drafted a legislative proposal that modifies some of the most high-profile solutions enacted last year with an amendment to the Animal Protection Act. Among other things, they provided for the postponement of the ban on keeping chickens in enriched cages until 2035, the abolition of mandatory chipping of cats and loosening the ban on tethering dogs.
