Luís Montenegro was invited this Tuesday to the traditional closing ceremony of the stock market in New York and, before investors, entrepreneurs and representatives of the Portuguese community, left the message that "Portugal is very open" to investments and business with the United States
"We are one of the safest countries in the world, with political, financial and social stability," he stressed.
The Prime Minister assured today, on the New York Stock Exchange, that Portugal will have a new budget surplus this year and that the country will continue to grow above the European average, calling for more investment from the United States.
