Portage could reconfigure trash pickup fees to address deficit

Portage Mayor Austin Bonta has unveiled a plan to restructure trash pickup fees in response to Senate Enrolled Act 1. He gave the City Council and public an outline of the plan at Tuesday’s council meeting before formally introducing it later this year.
