The Port of Iquique continues to consolidate its strategic position as a maritime port platform in northern Chile. This is how the MV Barbouni, an oil/chemical tanker from Coronel, docked at the Multi-Operated Terminal managed by Empresa Portuaria Iquique (EPI). The vessel loaded 3,500 tons of fish oil produced by the fishing company Corpesca, whose final destination will be the traditional European port of Ghent, Belgium.
