Port Hope council asking province to pull back on Bill 5, citing environmental concerns
Even as Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s government is moving to shut down debate on Bill 5, Port Hope council is calling on the government to find a way to bring in new housing without drastically affecting the ecosystem of the province’s municipalities.
Bill 5 a threat to farmland
If Bill 5 goes through, it will threaten our farmers and farmland. The Lennox & Addington Stewardship Council is angry about this Bill.
