The Ghaziabad Crime Branch has busted an international sextortion and cyber fraud ring and arrested four accused. According to the police, the accused used fake social media profiles to make video calls to people and blackmail them by creating fake pornographic videos using AI. A Canadian NRI was asked for $50,000. The investigation revealed a fraud of ₹65.8 million.
