Popular streaming platform's prices to rise by up to £24 a year from next week
The streaming service is raising Basic with Ads, Standard and Premium plans, with UK subscribers facing increases of up to £24 a year.
Starting next week, Paramount is increasing subscription prices for all UK customers across its Basic, Standard, and Premium tiers. The streaming service, which offers shows like Yellowstone, will raise costs before the end of this month.
The Basic with Ads plan will rise from £4.99 to £5.99 monthly, while the Standard plan increases from £7.99 to £9.99. Premium Paramount customers will see their rate climb from £10.99 to £12.99.
Subscribers on Standard or Premium plans face an annual cost increase of up to £24, representing a significant shift with some plans seeing price hikes of nearly 58% over the previous annual rate.
Existing Three customers with Paramount included in their plan won't see immediate price increases until their inclusive period ends. The provider notes costs will eventually increase from August 27.
Customers can cancel their subscription if they prefer not to pay the new rates. The platform continues offering content including Gladiator, Dexter: Original Sin, and Yellowstone as billing changes take effect later this month.
