Popular grocery chain closing early for second consecutive day: Is your store affected?

Numerous Publix stores across north and central Alabama have closed early for the second consecutive day as the region endures freezing cold temperatures.All Publix stores in Birmingham, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville, except one, closed early at 4 p.m. on Monday. The only exception is the Flint Crossing Marketplace location in Meridianville which has not posted a change to its normal operating schedule.
