Pooling water slowing traffic on Highway 1 near Revelstoke

Traffic continues to flow slowly on Highway 1 near Revelstoke due to water on the road. The province is warning drivers of the obstruction, excessive water pooling on the highway about 12 kilometres west of Revelstoke. As of 8:30 a.m., drivers were being advised they could be waiting up to 20-minutes with traffic reduced to single lane alternating. However, DriveBC cameras east and west of the impacted area showed no sign of vehicle line-ups.
