Ponoka RCMP respond to drowning in Centennial Pond

Ponoka RCMP responded to a report of a man calling for help in the middle of the Centennial Pond in Ponoka on July 16 at 9:50 p.m. Officers responded immediately with Ponoka Fire and EMS, according to an RCMP release. “Witnesses confirmed a male had gone under the water and not resurfaced.
