Liberals Catch up to PQ in Voting Intentions: Poll
The Liberals and Parti Québécois each have 33% support among decided voters, with the Quebec Conservative Party third at 15%, according to a Léger poll.
- The Quebec Liberal Party and the Parti Québécois are now tied at 33 per cent support, according to a Léger poll conducted March 20-22. Quebec Liberal Party Leader Charles Milliard and Parti Québécois leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon are neck and neck.
- Support for the Liberals steadily gained ground after former leader Pablo Rodriguez faced campaign allegations and resigned in December. Milliard's appointment as leader in mid-February accelerated the party's recovery from a 20 per cent low.
- Among the 1,003 eligible Quebecers sampled online, the Quebec Conservative Party holds third place at 15 per cent. Coalition Avenir Québec and Quebec Solidaire each garnered nine per cent support.
