Poll: Netanyahu's Likud party is on top, but bloc still lacks majority to form government
Likud remains the largest party with 26 seats, according to the Channel 13 News poll, but Netanyahu's coalition does not have the majority necessary to form a government. Neither does the opposition, which cannot form a government without the Arab parties
The rise of Bennett's 2026 party by three seats came mainly at the expense of Israel Today and there is a future where both parties are weakened by one seat each. The gap between Bennett's party and Likud is narrowing and now only five seats separate them. 70% of the total population expressed their fear of violence spreading in Arab society to the general sector
Likud is engaged in an internal struggle over the date of the elections and primaries: bringing forward the conference and changing the party's constitution are being considered to prevent political risk for Netanyahu and stabilize the faction.
A new mandate poll published this evening on Channel 12 shows that the Likud party led by Netanyahu is weakening - but the coalition bloc is strengthening slightly. The post Surprising mandate poll: Netanyahu is weakening - the coalition is strengthening appeared first on Knitted News.
