Everything indicates that the Israeli attacks on Iran so far have been a great success from a purely military point of view. If it turns out to be true that the first wave of Israeli strikes managed to kill not only the commander of the Revolutionary Guard Corps but also the Chief of General Staff and several other top commanders of the Iranian army, then it could be called a triumph. The problem is that it may turn out to be a Pyrrhic victory.
