Dozens of Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) personnel allegedly visited the Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya) following raids in the Asabri, coal, and Krakatau Steel cases. The TNI denies any interference.
The search was related to the investigation of three alleged corruption cases related to PLN coal, PT Asabri (Persero), and Krakatau Steel.
A total of 12 locations were targeted for searches by the Indonesian National Police's Corruption Eradication Unit (Kortastipidkor) and the Metro Jaya Regional Police's Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) in connection with three corruption cases they are currently handling.
