Police say two people have been killed in a shooting at a Target store in Austin, Texas, and a suspect is detained
The suspect, a 32-year-old man with a mental health history, killed three people and fled in stolen vehicles before police detained him after a pursuit, officials said.

- Police were called at 2:15 p.m. and arrived within four minutes; the suspect stole a car, wrecked it, then stole another before being captured, authorities said.
- The Austin Police Department shut down the 8000 block of MoPac southbound frontage road between Executive Center Drive and Anderson Lane as the scene remains active and the investigation continues.
