Police say two men opened fire over a parking dispute, killing a child and injuring four adults as witnesses are urged to come forward.
On Saturday evening, a 12-year-old girl was killed and three adults injured during a shooting at Leon Day Park in West Baltimore, the Baltimore Police Department reported.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley stated the incident stemmed from an argument over a parking spot, with two gunmen opening fire on each other near a youth football game.
Three adult victims—a 25-year-old woman and two men aged 23 and 28—were struck by gunfire and remain in stable condition at local hospitals, Baltimore Police confirmed.
Mayor Brandon Scott condemned the shooting during a news conference, calling the two suspects 'cowards' while expressing disgust at the situation unfolding near the youth football game.
