Police: Rome Man Accused of Eating Marijuana During GA 20 Traffic Stop
Octavis Jaques Redmond, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he tried to hide police evidence during a traffic stop on GA 20 near the Loop. Police said that they stopped Redmond for driving 70 mph in a 55 zone when they detected a marijuana odor coming from the vehicle. Officers added that Redmond proceeded to eat the marijuana so that they could not find it. Source
